For a perfect combination, you'll find matching labrets with small stones, even in a beautiful gold finish.
Cross Helix Piercings at PiercingXXL: our selection
Discover our selection of over 30 models for your cross helix piercings, available in metal colors like silver, gold, rose gold, or black, with some pieces crafted from titanium. You can choose from various styles including flat back labrets, bendable rings, internal thread options, push-in closures without threads, or designs with a movable pendant. To complete your look, these items are decorated with zirconia stones in a crystal color.
Shapes, Materials, and Combinations
About two-thirds of the models are labrets: They feature a flat back and sit snugly against the cartilage in a Helix Piercing, making them much more comfortable for sleeping than a ring. You can find more simple shapes to complement your look among our Helix Piercing Studs. Barbells with a cross are suitable for longer piercing channels, while rings with a cross wrap around the edge of the ear for a more playful look.
Almost half of the models are made of ASTM F136 titanium, making them suitable for sensitive skin. We also offer 316L surgical steel and brass; brass is fashion jewelry meant only for fully healed piercings. A few select pieces feature a high-quality gold-colored finish. For a larger selection, check out our Helix Piercing collection.
Our Practical Advice
Place the cross in the highest hole of your helix; it is most visible there and interferes least with your sleep. Combine it with one or two small stones right below it, rather than lining up multiple large designs.
Frequently Asked Questions About Cross Helix Piercingsss
Labret or ring for a Cross Helix Piercings?
A labret sits flat, is the better choice for a fresh piercing, and hardly bothers you while sleeping. A ring with a cross is more eye-catching but should only be worn in a fully healed helix.
What bar length do I need?
For a healed helix, a short bar is usually sufficient, which you can easily measure using your current stud. A fresh piercing initially requires a longer bar, which is downsized once the swelling goes down.
Can I just change the cross top?
With internally threaded or push-in labrets, you can simply swap the top and leave the bar in your ear. Just make sure the top and the bar use the same system.
HelixRookDaithTragusConchPłatekWhere is the helix piercing located?
The helix is located in the cartilage at the upper edge of the ear. Multiple helix piercings stacked together create a beautiful ear stack.
How your helix piercing heals
Clean twice a day with sterile saline solution. Try not to sleep on the pierced side if possible.
Do not change the initial jewelry; be careful when putting hair, headphones, and hats over it.
Cartilage piercings take time: A helix usually takes six to twelve months to heal.
Once everything is calm, you can insert new jewelry – in the same gauge as before.
These times are guidelines; every healing process is different. In case of severe pain, swelling, or pus, please consult your piercing studio or a doctor.
