Feather Piercings: Feathers and Dreamcatchers for Ear and Belly Button
Feather Piercings look best when they point along the natural curve of your ear.
A Feather Piercings brings a light boho look to your ear or belly button – we offer over 30 models ranging from €6.99 to €16.99. The top seller is a titanium labret with a feather and internal threading, followed by dreamcatcher chains and belly button piercings with dangling feathers. Additionally, there are feathers with turquoise semi-precious stones, an industrial barbell with an arrow, threadless titanium tops, and a clicker ring with a feather. This way, you will easily find the perfect feather for your helix, tragus, or belly button.
Feather Piercings at PiercingXXL: our selection
Discover our selection of over 20 models of feather piercings at PiercingXXL, available in silver, gold, or rose gold, with some pieces crafted from titanium. You can choose between designs featuring a movable pendant, an internal thread, or a labret with a flat plate. To add a touch of color to your style, these items are decorated with zirconia stones in crystal, aqua, or pink.
Shapes, Materials, and Combinations
On the ear, you usually wear the feather as a flat labret top that hugs the Helix Piercing or the tragus. The clicker ring with a feather fits perfectly into the earlobe or helix if you want some movement. For a Belly Button Piercing, the feather dangles below the curved barbell, often combined with cubic zirconia, a dreamcatcher ring, or turquoise. There is also a nipple shield featuring a dreamcatcher design.
About half of the models are made of brass, making them fashion jewelry for healed piercings. For sensitive skin, there are feathers made of ASTM F136 titanium and 316L surgical steel.
Our Practical Advice
A feather looks best when it points in the natural direction of the ear's anatomy, meaning diagonally upwards and backwards. For fresh piercings, opt for titanium labrets; save the dangling brass feathers for fully healed spots.
Frequently Asked Questions About Feather Piercingsss
Which feather fits a helix piercing?
For the helix, choose a titanium labret with a flat feather, either internally threaded or as a push-in stud. The flat shape sits snugly against the edge of the ear and rarely gets caught in your hair.
Is there a belly button piercing with a feather?
Yes, several curved barbells feature a dangling feather, some with an arrow, dreamcatcher, or turquoise stone. They are longer than a standard belly ring and beautifully accentuate the navel.
Can I wear brass feathers permanently?
Brass is fashion jewelry intended for healed piercings, not for fresh ones. If you have sensitive skin, you should only wear it temporarily and otherwise switch to titanium.
How your ear piercing heals
Clean twice a day with sterile saline solution and only touch with clean hands.
Do not change the initial jewelry and do not sleep on the pierced side.
An earlobe is usually healed after six to twelve weeks. Cartilage like a helix or tragus takes six to twelve months.
Once everything is calm, you can insert new jewelry – in the same gauge as before.
These times are guidelines; every healing process is different. In case of severe pain, swelling, or pus, please consult your piercing studio or a doctor.
